So Thursday was the big day. As some might recall, I was scheduled to have some teeth pulled. Turns out, the dentist chickened out at the last minute and sent me to an oral surgeon. Had a wisdom tooth, the molar in front of it cut out, as well as a cyst in the back of the wisdom tooth removed (size of a half-dollar!!).
Thursday wasn't bad. I bounced back from the ansthesia pretty fast. Friday was okay, but 'til evening the swelling really kicked in. Today was pretty good, the swelling isn't as bad, but eating apple sauce and oatmeal is getting old.
I've been taking extra-strength tylenol, but I do have some oxycodene that was prescribed, but only took one on Thursday after the surgery. The stuff made me half sick.
So, for those that have been through this, when will the swelling go down so I can eat normal food again?? I'm drooling for a cheeseburger in the worst way!!
