I don't know why, but I bought this just because I liked the contrast in the black blade, orange handle.

International Orange will probably help keep some deer hunter from getting his ass shot off this season.

I love the orange grips as well. I've got two orange ritter mini grips. One in the standard stone washed s30v and one in black dlc coated cpm-m4 . The black m4 blade is currently in a set of cuscadi cf micarta scales however.
 
That's a nice looking setup. I have the satin blade version with orange scales. I can't tell you how many times I've laid down green/earth/camo knives in the woods and panicked trying to find them. I'm all about high vis now. :D
