Any chance somebody is making these scales? I know there were some at Blade, but I'd be interested if any knifemaker or other enterprising person who makes these right now. Thanks in advance for the help.

:D That goes for me also. I have a RD 6 with orange g10 handles and I love them. Most of my knives have a micarta handle which in my case gets stained by normal body oil.:D

Okay...
Couple of options, and oddly enough, serious options.
Although I do not personally have a problem with the scales, a LOT of people try to find ways to improve the grip. One creative solution a while back was a piece of bicycle innertube over the handle.

Believe it or not, I am still on task...

If you are very good at working with materials, there are some auction site sellers that stock many different colors of micarta. You could fashion your own. I've seen blaze orange, lime green, pink. Whatever floats your boat.

Or, possibly, two birds with one stone??? Are bicycle innertubes, or maybe a similar tubing, made in bright colors? If so, a piece could be stretched over the stock handle. This would improve grip and make it easy to find in the bush.

Just a thought...

And what you think about Heat Shrinkable Tubing ?

There are different colors

They would end up looking like this in Orange G-10. And you would have to send your knife to us.
