Thanks guys!

I think I've got most of my bases covered with these.

I took my late Grandpa's words to heart "Orange knives make the best banana peelers of them all and if
you have one, you need at least five more to go with it."

Actually he never said those words, he was a firm advocate of good knives though :-)

coming along nicely, can I suggest a Toby's knife to even out that small gap in the 3/4" heigh spot? :p

Nice Russ!

I like the Orange G10 - it does not stain up like you might think, it stays nice and orange and cleans up great.

Thanks for the pictures - and great collection!

best

Russ, do you like orange?:)

I showed up in Black Hills, SD deer camp one year with a Swedish Mauser entirely painted in safety orange!

Yes, I do like orange, funny you ask ;-)

I'll bet you have the only Mauser of it's kind, sounds nice in a interesting sort of way.

This brings up a question I've never thought of until now, why doesn't Remington or Ruger
or any of the other companies make a deer rifle with an orange stock?

A stainless steel Remington 700 with orange synthetic would look great and serve it's purpose better than black or camo I think (or maybe I'm just weird and nobody else would buy one...)
