Orange colour variations on SR11/SR22

I've just received a knife I've been looking forward to for a long time, an orange SR11.
I was surprised to see it has a slightly different colour than its smaller counterpart, the SR22. The fit and finish of both knives is magnificent, and both look and feel perfect in every way, so I don't suspect one of them is a fake. I was just struck by the different shades of orange on these knives. The SR11 is redder, darker and less reflective than the SR22, which leans towards yellow.
Has anyone else noticed this oddity? (My SR1 and SR2, both green with black blades, look identical, colour wise.)
