Did or will spyderco ever come out with an orange endura. The endura is my favorite spyderco model for bang for your buck. I'd love an orange one. Or OD Green would rock too. Just wonder if there ever was such a model or if there ever will be?

The ZDP model comes in a foliage green handle. as for orange if you can still find a white endura you can dye the handle orange

Took the words right out of my...keyboard. I have a very nice orange D4 with a ZDP blade courtesy of RIT.

Could you toss a dash of red dye on a yellow endura and make orange?

I don't think so. As far as I know from reading here, the dye is like paint. Since the FRN doesn't absorb the dye maybe a thin coat to let the yellow show through would give you somewhat of an orange tinge. I think it would look better with a heavy long soak in a straight orange dye.

It would still be cheap an easy to produce, what do you think Sal????????????

the zdp endura has british racing green scales, the vg-10 model has foliage green

I just sold my formerly pink, orange endura to a buddy, and kept her little sis, d4. I used yellow rit, over pink scales, and they came out fantastic. It took about 8 or 10 seconds in the die. They were getting darker fast, so go a second or two at a time.

See now that looks awesome! I wished spyderco would just make a safety orange Endura. It'd sell like hotcakes I know. Orange has always been a popular color for knife handles. They did the Rescue in Orange so I know it can be done.
