What are some of your favorite orange-handle knives?
I haven't seen too many, but I think I'm about to pickup a Spyderco Military in safety orange...looks hot.

on the other hand...anyone know of lime-green-handle knives?

There have been a couple threads about orange knives in the last couple months. It seems to be a bit of a fad currently and there are actually a fair number of production knives that have seen limited release in orange.

Off the top of my head, the Spyderco Millie, Urban, Rescue and Ladybug, Kershaw Tyrade and Zing, a number of Case knives in orange G-10, RAT RC-3 and RC-4, some of the Victorinox Alox models, a couple of TOPS blades, two or three CRKT folders and I think just about all of the BRTK knives have orange micarta or G-10 as a handling option. There are probably others I have forgotten.

I think the only one's I have seen are some Case folders in lime green bone.

Lime green, you say? I believe there's actually a bright green Laguiole around, but can't remember where...

I've got an Orange g10 Tyrade and want an orange military. Hopefully I'll be able to order an Izula and wrap it in orange paracord soon

I really dig the orange handles. I have an orange Spydie Military and Hinderer FXM and they both rock. I'm trying to find an orange scale for my XM-18 and have an orange Begg CIG inbound. I dunno why, but I've always dug orange. I would have probably bought my stang in orange if they would have had it on the lot.

Whie discontinued, they can still be found on the second hand market, a Benchmade Mini-Griptilian.

Hen & Rooster also makes a lime green bone handled stockman.

I think Gerber makes a really cheap (in more ways than one) rescue knife with an orange handle too.

Why is the Kershaw Tyrade not on the Kershaw website? is it discontinued? new model?

and keep posting pics of orange(and lime green!) knives!

Orange also has a psychological effect. People would view an orange handle as a safety/rescue tool, not as much a weapon.

Allen, I just ordered the Buck 110 in Fiji Orangewood and S30V from the custom shoppe. Thanks for the very nice picture.

That's more true than a lot of folks realize. I've used my red-handled and yellow-handled SAKs out in public, and never had a comment. But, if I go to use the black-handled ones, I sometimes get stares.

I've got an Emerson CQC-10 I want to get orange G10 scales for.

thx - cpr

I really like my Rat RC-4. Got it for father's day last year, really wanted it for hunting, unfortunately didn't see much in the woods last fall, so it didn't get used.

I would like to get one of the Ranger RD9's from Ontario, they have brought out the whole Ready Detachment line in orange G10.

I like orange and Safety yellow blade scales. They make it easier for you to find if dropped (even if in a drawer) and scream "tool" rather than "weapon". I've been seen with my yellow-handled Spydie Tasman Salt so much that the office ladies here ask me to borrow "that yellow knife" whenever they need to open a box.

One thing about orange G10 is that it is slippery. If you can, get it with texture, or you may need to sand it with 220grit to make it 'grippier'.

Just ordered this one a few days ago (waiting impatiently by the mailbox!), a Case Wharncliffe Mini Trapper in orange smooth bone:
