Tis bow season in my neck of the woods..

got me some S35VN blades. can't wait to try them out. Might EDC the folder. here's some friends that are visiting us too!

4 bucks on the property have been sparring gently. just trying out antlers and who's the biggest boss, etc....

i like the fact that i can sharpen the blades myself. always liked s30 but it is difficult to sharpen without the right tools/skills

i get whyd youd feel that way, but i haven't found it a hard steel to keep sharp. I use ceramics for touchups on s30v and they work well enough. sic or diamond stones work very well and are as easy as any stone youre used to. it's really just using the right stones that matters. the key is, besides proper stones, is dont let it get really dull and it won't seem so hard or time consuming.

I really like the small, fixed blade version. Trying hard to resist temptation, but I'm feeling weak.
