I decide that I wanted a black and orange mili so........the blade, liners, and all the hardware got Cerakoted in black. Thinking I might do the same to my new Orange Manix 2! ;)

Excellent.

I am hoping someday Sal makes the "Goblin" a Sprint. It would surely be a hot item.

This is a blade swap version I did back in 08

jforbush,
that looks fantastic! it just makes it that much sweeter that you 'dunnit-yerself'.

Awesome! Hope Sal thinks so to. That is the best orange knife I think I've seen.

Thanks all for the comments!! I think I am going to work on my Orange Manix 2 so it matches.

I think it looks great. Bright colors always go well with black steel IMO.

You do it yourself or send it out? Looks real clean.

Thanks!!! This is all me....I started a side business doing cerakote and duracoat and in between customers knifes and I do my own.

I am guessing the ceracoat process has a baking step? If so how hot does the oven get to cure the coating?

Well....I couldn't leave well enough alone.....seeing that someone else had a orange and black mili I had to make mine different!! :)

See the OP for a new pic

Thanks....not spray can but I see you point....this is work in progress...I might change it.

I remember seeing that a long time ago Rob, must have been you over on the Spyderco.com forums. That is the essential Halloween knife. However, with a sprint run Manix2 (orange), you could do the same with the all black version.

Yeah here's the original swap, back before I knew how to take pictures.

The more I looked at the orange web I added the more I missed just the black blade.....I took it off and she is just black now.....I am happier!!
