I just picked up an orange Millie off the bay for 125 shipped, a pretty good deal since I live in Singapore :D
I'm pretty psyched...it couldn't have picked a worse time to arrive though, riiight before exams! So I probably will have to exercise some self control and not play with it when I should be studying.
Here's hoping that it gets through customs okay! Hopefully the bright, cheerful orange scales will help the customs guy decide that it's a cute little (little?) tool and not a large, razor-sharp, pointy knife that is very dangerous in the wrong hands.

Pics and review when it arrives.

Use it to sharpen your pencil (only). Then you'll have a reason to work hard :D

It'll go something like this:

Me: Damn. Pencil is blunt.
*picks up Millie*
Me: pwetty...
*play play play*
1 hour later, pencil is sharp.
And it's a mechanical, so there are bits of plastic on the desk. :D

Congrats on the Orange Millie, but be warned it may make you want an Orange Para.

hey, don't rub it in, we all want orange paras, lol.

it works backwards too, my foliage green para makes me want a foliage green mili

there's already a foliage green Millie right?
For my second ever Spydie I think I did pretty good :D

Orange Millies can be had now pretty much for the same as the standard Mils. There has been quite a few up at good prices here on the exchange. A few shops on ebay are still selling them as a limited run. As far as I know it looks like they are not limited now at all.

yeah, a limited prod. run with CPM D2 steel. and yes you did great, no spydie collection is complete without a mili

Is it legal to carry a knife like a Mili in Singapore?

Well here it's all about intent afaik.

If you get searched on the street (with a large square tab of bright orange G10 sticking out your pocket) and are caught with a 10-inch long folding knife with a scary-sharp blade, you'd better have a good reason.

"I just bought it" will fly if you have a receipt.

"I'm going camping", well, if you're in a shopping district...

I probably will carry loose in pocket.
