Orange Peel Finish - Scratch Resistant?

I've been curious about the orange peel finish on titanium knives and was curious how scratch resistant it has proven for some of you. I think it's rather specific to custom knives so hopefully there are a good few with feedback here. How does it compare to stonewashed titanium for hiding the wear?

Many thanks!

Orange peel isn't really scratch resistant in the same way that stonewashing isn't. They are just methods for pre-scratching the knife so the scratches aren't as noticeable. Orange peel is basically a very very extreme version of a stonwash (obviously being applied in two different ways).

I have one knife with an orange peel (my Rassenti Nirvana) and it hasn't shown any wear.

Excellent, thank you so much for the feedback.

Its not orange peeled, its egg shelled. Orange peel shows scratches quite easily. Egg shell on the other hand is quite resistant.

My bluephin is fully orange peeled and blasted and it hides wear very well and even when it does start to show wear it still looks good.
