Orange scales for my H.E.S.T.

I bought a HEST to give as gift. Liked so much that I bought a second one for myself. I've been carrying it daily for about 6 weeks and find it to be an excellently designed tool. In fact, if it had a metal file on its spine, I'd probably leave my Leatherman in the truck.
Anyway, I would really like to have a set of orange G-10 scales for my HEST. Do you think ESSEE would ever make them in the near future? I was thinking of trying Rit dye but I'm afraid that because of the OD green scales, they would end up being a rusty brown color.
 
I am pretty sure the answer would be no. If you're really interested in the orange g10 scales you could do them yourself.
 
Take a look at knifekits.com if your thinking about doing your own-I think they sell the material needed.
 
I think in this knife, the idea is to not be seen. That said, I don't really like orange on knives that much anyway, only certain cases.
 
A man after my own heart! I just mentioned in another thread I would love to have some G10 scales on my HEST! Keep us posted.
