I would like to update all of you, who have been super patient regarding your respective orders, with the following summary.

ATC's delivery schedule for Next Generation Rangers and Vietnam Tacticals has grown to the 8-9 week mark. This exceeds our published maximum of 6 weeks. All Rogers' Rangers models and MAXes have been shipping from date of order to two weeks, fairly regularly. Brend Production Hatchets and Std. Edition Hayes Hawks are in preparation for shipment within the next two to three weeks. In many cases, these orders were paid at the date of order, by virtue of our policy and previously acceptable turn around time.

I am the first to admit that paying for an order and waiting 8 weeks is unacceptable. We are changing that policy and our online ordering system immediately until such time as we can guarantee our delivery performance.

Further, many of you are waiting on sheaths, contest won shirts, retrofits, and a small number of handle replacements.

We have not forgotten one, single situation or commitment...if you feel like we might have, call or write us to make sure, but we're pretty sure we know everything our customers are due.

Next Generation Rangers should be completed and shipping for all orders placed 8 to 3 weeks ago, in two weeks or less.

Vietnam Tactical Tomahawks and Vietnam Field Grade Tomahawks for ALL orders (yes, ALL orders period) should be completed and shipping in three weeks.

Handle replacements and retrofits should be completed and shipped in two weeks or less.

Backordered Concealex is drop-shipping this week from SSS.

All customers who have waited beyond our published commitment of 6 weeks or less will be comp'd with a tangible "Thank You", which is the least we can do for your support, enthusiasm, and business.

By way of explanation, let me offer that behind the scenes, ATC has contended with a fire at our drop forge, a growing number of deployments by Armed Services Personnel, and a host of Mr. Murphy oriented problems, which have made me want to jump out of my office window more than once! However, we seem to have matters sufficiently under control at this juncture and are on the road to not only recovery, but better performance on production and delivery.

If you have any questions, feel free to write us or call. Thank you so much for your patronage.

Andy,

While I'm still saving my pennies so that I can purchase one of your products, I must say that I am impressed by your forthright nature.

I've read many compliments on ATC's customer service and this post helps me see why. Many (most) companies would be avoiding this topic and hoping that it wouldn't affect too many of their customers. I really appreciate the fact that you are willing to openly discuss these issues.

I also truely appreciate your policy of giving active duty orders priority! When I do end up ordering from you, I certainly won't complain about any delays if that is what it takes for our troops to get what they need.

I am looking forward to doing business with you and with ATC!

PropellerHead :)

Hey everyone, I waited six months for my Next Generation Ranger Tomahawk and I know other people were in the same boat. I have not chopped anything with it; however, I have thrown it a little bit (so it is not like I use it everyday or my life depends on it). However, I look at it everyday and think "damn that is cool tomahawk." Everybody who has an item on order with ATC, it is well worth the wait. At least it is not like a Mike Snody knife: unobtainable (to a certain extent):D .

Thanks for the update Andy.

Anybody that is waiting for a NG Ranger
it is worth the wait, you won't be disapointed.

I received my RR Hawk within 2-3 weeks of odreing...it is a great Hawk!I whole heartedly agree with what Propellorhead said.....Rock on ATC!!!!:D

I would also like to thank you guys who are waiting for your patience. Just know that whenever you guys call you aren't just talking to me - I let Andy know about every phone call and I usually call Justin in the shop just to verify for you. Everybody gets the shakedown! ;)

Hey, You know what?....That's pretty cool, thanks for letting us know. I was thinking about my hawk and I know it's only there for a handle upgrade and that's pretty low on the totem pole but thanks for letting me know the status.

Only one problem.....

I've seen the window in your office, Prisco. Unless you knock some framing out, NO WAY are you jumping out of it.

...glad you appreciate your weekend liberty from C-Block...I can just visit you from now on if you want, but we have to talk through the glass and use those stupid phones. :D

Andy,
I thinks it speaks alot that you are here to talk with those that use your products, not many companies like that. You keeping us informed of production schedules is excellant bussiness. Besides quality is worth waiting for.
Thanks.
Tim Nicely
