Woohoo! Tan & Muddy Ratmandu soon on the way! Kind of funny though...that status change showed yesterday with an estimated delivery date of tomorrow, and the actual status on the UPS tracking page shows delivery date of tomorrow, but no actual info except the tracking number. I'm hoping for tomorrow, but it looks like it will actually later this week. Anyway, I'll put up some pics when it gets here!

...after looking at it a second time...looks like the label was printed...shipment was scheduled, but UPS hasn't actually received it/shipped it yet. <whine...sniffle>.

Cant wait to see it!!! My Ratmandu shipped Monday and gets to Phoenix Friday - pant pant...

Funny showed two packages and two tracking numbers . I wonder if the rodent solution was ready to go too! Or almost ...
It just updated to an apology via UPS that the schedule had been changed and to check back for updates ...

Dance puppet .... Dance !

Eating Dinner and the UPS delivery truck pulled up and left a box at my door . . .could it be? Remember that earlier today, the shipment was shown as an error and not yet shipped!

The Ratmandu needs no introduction! The sheath is by Eli at Godspeed Tactical. The sheath is a perfect sheath for the perfect knife. Notice the Dangler configuration which is awesome ! Also Eli added a holder for my exotac! Every edge of kydex is perfect and rolled/smoothed. There is no rattle and this rig is perfect for horizontal, vertical or just about any kind of carry you can imagine! More pics on it later!

The Ratmandu is not my first SwampRat, I have an infi Smog Warden that I got from my brother, which , is awesome in it's own right . . .but the muddy Ratmandu and the Tan handles--> speaks for itself . . .

I have also read from more than one person that when they got their knives, they weren't very sharp and/or were sharpened a little unevenly at the point. Not this one, I accidentally cut my eyeball just looking at it! That's a testament to Dave (the guy who sharpened it.) Thanks Swamprat/Busse Guys! Far exceeded the lofty expectations that I already had after lurking on here for a long time! Hope you guys have a couch I can sleep on, 'cause this is just getting started. LOL!

THAT color combo is one of the nicest I've seen on a RMD!!! The tan/brown micarta turned out great and the sheath is really nice....I'm digging the entire set-up!!!

I completely agree. The lighting and iPhone pics aren't great, but you can really see the nice color in the RMJ Hawk pic. The mud color on the blade and the brown color in the micarta is a good match! I can't get over how light and balanced the knife feels . . .Im hooked.

That combo looks great! What is the pouch wrapped around the sheath? Does it snap on?

Hope my Black RMD looks as nice as yours!

Thanks Guys . . . I'll post some more pics when it's little brother gets here . . . .

Thanks all! Next order of business . . ..I'm planning on trying my hand at an EDC low profile type leather sheath. Maybe a dangler. The Godspeed Kydex is awesome, but for the more discrete day to day carry... Simple, basic and sleek leather might be the ticket.

The Godspeed Tactical Sheath is really cool. It's basically a scout sheath with pocket and dangler option. The way Eli put it together is pretty brilliant and fit and finish are equals to the quality of the knife that rides in it!
