Order Time Frames?

As a point of interest, and not to be construed as a complaint:

We've seen several posts from Jerry and company indicating that military orders are overwhelming in number, and that those orders are quite properly being given priority at this time.

In the interests of not contributing to the sandstorm of communication at Busse Combat I'm posting my question here. Are unfilled commercial orders being processed at this time, and is there any prediction on when they'll be filled? Anyone know?
 
Well, I look at it like this, maybe I'm wrong. The wait for a Randall from the factory is 3yrs, the wait for a Bagwell is 5. If the wait for a Busse is 10wks (which it's not) it would still be worth every minute of INFI withdrawl fever pains. The Military Should come first and I would wait 3x as long if I knew that would get some grunt his knife sooner. I already paid for my Desert Mofo, but if I got the call saying a GI wants that knife and we are out, I would gladly let them buy it, I would select something else,and I would be Happy I had a little something to add to the war effort.

Yes, regular orders are being filled however I can't give you an estimate on the time frame. I'm sure an email to the shop would give you an answer or maybe BB or Shaggi will post on this thread.

Thanks Eric. :) I've been holding off calling or emailing due to earlier requests from the shop NOT to bog them down with inquiries:

Not knowing if the flood of calls has lessened, I thought it might more helpful to ask the question on the forum instead. You are remarkably perceptive, by the way: my closet hope (ulterior motive?) WAS to get someone from the shop to answer it. :cool:
 
I don't know for sure but every time I ask Jerry about any outstanding orders (no mater how many months it has been.)his answer is always "2 weeks". :D
 
Hey, sorry for the confusion. Yes, we are still processing orders although many are getting constantly bumped due to the enormous military demand.

We are still shipping commercial orders.....the time frame is just pushed back a bit. Everyone here at the shop has been working double time the past couple of months and it seems like no matter how long and hard we work that we're still going to be backed up by a couple more weeks. This war has us working our butts off! No one is being ignored or forgotten.......we just want our troops to have the best so they come home safe. If anyone has questions about they're orders you are more than welcome to email us.....give us about a week to answer.

You guys have been great.....being patient.....and one day I'll buy all of you a round of beer(of course this will be when I'm rich and no longer have to work) to show our gratitude!
