Ha, just about the time I think I have seen pretty much everything that could impress me from BA, here comes somthing new . . . lines on the Damascus, lines on the scales, even the laynard has "lines" in it . . . . .
BA, keep putting any dark wood with that Damascus buddy & you might just convince me to change my mind on that next knife . . . . :)
That Damascus would sure go great with your "user" I already have . . . . ;)

It is sure nice to own such works of art, things that we are justly proud to own and to pass on down when that time arrives.

Makes each purchase a true investment..................no less a sentimental one.

But for the time being.....one that each of us may enjoy as we see fit. Being that my customs are intended to take afield during each hunting season, along with my son and his Backwoods knives, let the bloodletting begin!!!
 
Yes a true work of art there. I had originally pictured a lighter wood (I've seen some knives of Bill's with almost an Ivory look on the scales) but this is amazing! The lines complement the Damascus so well and how the top of the scale is spotted is a very cool effect. Very, very excited to get this in the mail.

And I also want to throw in that working with Bill was a pleasure. He uploaded pictures of the wood he had available and patiently waded through my 10+ emails of questions and requests. A great guy with great service. Also want to mention I made my order yesterday, and here she sits. Luckily he had all the things on hand that I was asking for. Thanks again Bill.
