Here is a Bushpal with curly Ash scales and black liners. He wanted a stained handle to match a Hawk he has with Ash so thats what I did. It was my first time staining handles and it turned out awesome for this wood. Its one of my favorite handles to date. Kind of gives it an old look which matches the blade really well. Thanks Mike!

Chris, between youself & BA, I have never seen two people who could match the background of their shots so well with what they were photographing. It's a good thing that knife has a silverish blade because that handle could get lost on that stump . . . . :)
Great looking knife, & Wilson is right, that knife has the looks of something you would have found in your grandma's kitchen once upon a time . . .
Great job once again . . . . :thumbup:
Be safe.

Hell yes, the scales and blade go perfect together. Nice work yet again Chris. Good to see some work around here again.

YEAH Brother!!!!! Looks as nice here as it did in the PM!!!!! I'm looking forward to "Using" this one!!!

THANK YOU!!!!! It Looks Great!!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Can we get the size specs and steel (1095 right?) on this one???

Mike

how true, looks like it's a well-used, well-loved knife from Dad's tender years :)
you should start making knives for museums or historical installations, enacters, whatnot, you age your products dramatically well!
good going, Chris!
