Ok so I try not to do orders to much since my schedule doesnt always allow it, but I had a fellow try to buy that knife TPVT bought not long ago. I wanted to try a pattern similar and came up with this for the order. I call it the lite hunter. Its a bit bigger than the one Todd got measuring in at about 4 1/2 and a 4 inch blade. I think I am gonna make a few more coming up. What do you guys think. These were cell phones pics on my console at the post office!!!

You're getting better all the time Matt. Really cool and you know how I like Hamon.

Matt, interesting looking knife once again. Don't know about anyone else, but I definitely consider myself a lucky man to be able to be on a knife forum with 3 excellent knife makers and to be able to see their work first hand . . . .
Nice . . . .
Be safe.

Really nice. I like the mixed materials for the handle and of course love the hamon.

Dude, that knife rocks! Very clean and streamlined!

But we really have to talk about those hands! Way too clean for a knifemaker's paw! Nicely trimmed nails, nary a hair on the back of the hand, certainly no cracked patches of dry skin or calluses packed with crud! You're gonna give us a bad name if you keep it up! ;)

Hey M/B, I think Matt just needs to get that intro line changed from "Part TIme" maker to "Full Time" maker, that would most definitely make a change . . . . :D :D
Had my eye on two of his models before but they were gone as fast as BA & KFU's do on a Saturday night . . . . Looks like he is fitting in quite well on this forum . . .
Be safe.

Thanks guys!
M/B I keep a scotchbrite in the bathroom for grinding that crud outta my hands before I go to work! But trust me look at the other threads, my hands look like they been through a meat grinder so it must have been the light!
First time I went after a dark hamon as well. Kinda looks cool. I like polished too though just depends on the knife.

sweet! well...as you know...i think it's a GREAT idea. :D love the one (similar) that i got from you. as i expected...it has been riding on my hip each day i get into the woods for hunting.

nice work matt. looks great!

I have 2 bushcraft knives with a hamon on order.
