I've been around the knife scene for years, but dealt mostly in BM, RAT, ZT, Spydies, etc.
Always admired Busse & Kin from a distance, until a few weeks ago.
I happened to pick up a Scrapyard Scrapper 5 CG in Tanker Gray w/ Black Res-C handle. I was SO impressed with the sharpness, fit & finish, and the feel of the knife, that I immediately found a 2nd one in Sage w/ Green Res-C handle.
That led to me doing more research, for which I found that I was intrigued by the Swamp Rat line, and so I picked up a Ratmandu in Tanker Gray w/ Black Micarta handle. This was a whole new level of quality! I caught the bug bad! So I bought a Swamp Rat Military Overrun EH3 (Mini Uncle Mojo) in Tan w/ Tan Canvas handle.
I figured if the quality went up a level from the Scrapyard to the Swamp Rat, that it would probably be the same moving from the Swamp to a Busse!
So, I placed my order on Wednesday for a Busse Combat Tank Buster in Desert Sage w/ Tan Canvas, w/choil, Heavy Swedge & Skull Crusher!
I can't wait for it to arrive!!!
Next....I see a Hell Razor on the horizon!
