Ordered a Benchmade Skirmish

I have seen the knife, but know nothing at all of the blade material, how good is this steel as far as sharpness and edge holding.

S30V is regarded by many as the best stainless material available these days.

I cut some thick plastic and chopped/hacked through some pressed wood today and it still shaves. I was pretty impressed.

Thing was pretty dull when I first got it though.
