Initially I had wanted a bk16 to see if it had any performance advantages over the 15. However, when you are working on glass for storm doors, you find that you have quite a lot of time to think. I thought about the Beckers I already have (the 14 and 15), and realized I needed a full-size Becker. That's where the BK5 comes in. I ordered myself one after work last night around 2:00 am or so. I also ordered a BK17 for my brother who is currently serving overseas until the end of the year. We had previously discussed the tweeners and he expressed a good deal of interest in the 17, so when I decided to get myself a knife, I also decided to get him one as a thank you for his service, and because I love and miss him a great deal. I will post pictures when they arrive, before I take the 17 to his wife for the care package.

Thanks! I'm really looking forward to it. I have the 15 and am quite pleased with it; I'm expecting I'll love the 5. I'm already trying to decide whether or not to strip it when it gets here.
