Ordered a Busse, ended up with a tight red tigerstripe dress

So I picked up a sweet bruiser BG Public Defender on the exchange and it was due to arrive yesterday. I get home from work, theres a plastic ebay mailer waiting for me, I open it and its some kind of womens stretchy shirt with black and red tiger stripes.

I contacted the seller thinking he got his packages mixed up, but he informed me that he used a brown cardboard box to ship, and knew nothing of the dress. This was totally bizarre, because the tracking number on the mailer with the dress was the one that the seller sent me when he shipped it out.

We were both going to go to our respective post offices today to figure it out, but a half hour ago the mailman brought a brown box with 7.25 postage due. Yup, the shipping label came off his box and got stuck to a random package. Luckily, the seller wrote my address on both sides of the box so it arrived even without the label.

Mailman saw the package and agreed thats what happened.

I was really bummed yesterday because I figured it got lost or would at least be delayed, but its here now, and its awesome.

But, enough of my yakkin. Without further ado, heres the black/bruiser bgpd:

Wow, there's so much to work with here I don't know where to begin LOL! .... Tiger stripe micarta? hehe...
Meanwhile, some chick out there is looking like you did when you opened it thinking "where's my Busse?" So the big question, does it fit? :eek:
 
Just when you think you've heard of every possible way for a package to get lost in transit....

We're all pleased you two brothers got to the bottom of the caper...you guys deserved to get a break go your way!

Pretty funny. If the parties involved were different, this might have gotten ugly in the feedback section!
 
I knew he was man enough! You got to be secure enough to pull that off! .... So, it's all good as long as you don't have shoes to go with it! :lol: This deserves a toast!!!

This is exactly the reason why I always use clear packing tape to completely cover my postage label. Tape is cheap; Busse knives, not so much.

Ditto. In fact, I bought another three rolls last night. Packing tape is getting expensive. Three rolls = $12.99 on sale at Meijer.
 
taking one for the team, I woulda been super concerned. about the knife.
 
I was the seller. The weirdest shipping thing I have ever had happen,and that is including the time that a package went to Miami three times the city in Fl. that is was going to twice and to CA and back before it was finally delivered in FL. From now on I am taking clear tape with me to the PO to tape over the postage label.
At least the dress was tiger striped. Hope the lady it went to never sees this thread.:D
