Ordered a CQC-7AW

Ordered the CQC-7AW off of Emerson's web site a few days ago then recieved an email stating that the knife was out of stock for 6 weeks. I've never delt with Emerson direct before so when they say six weeks should I expect to wait a full six weeks? Maybe longer? The reason I ask is because I get the impression from a few threads that Emerson's production of knives is hit or miss.
 
Answered my own question by doing what I should have done first...calling Emerson Knives. If anybody is wondering about ordering a CQC-7AW from the Emerson site the wait time is still 6 weeks give or take a week or two. A nice lady advised that I could expect my knife sometime around the middle to end of October, which is fine just gives me time to save up more money for more knives.
