Ordered a Manix anyway!

I wasn't going to get one...."too big for me" "too hard to carry", "too heavy".
I usually use a 3" or (-) knife, you see.

After a little time and reading lots of threads about the Manix I could resist no more. Ordered one from NGK yesterday.

What pushed me over the edge is the blade shape, not so pointy, reminds me of my Lil Temp. How is it in carrying? using?
 
I carry mine IWB with no problem. They are a pocket chainsaw. I can predict what people will say now when I show it to them it is always "DAMN thats a big knife". :eek:
 
If you sling the monster over your slacks pocket, you might feel it. Otherwise, jeans or heavier khakis, I don't notice it at all - especially when clipped in the cargo pocket. Best large folder to come along in a great while, yes, believe the hype. If you haven't actually gripped that form-fitting handle, you're in for a very nice surprise.

What are "IWB"?

Although I will carry Manix only at home,I was concerened about the weight and size.
Glad to hear it's not too great weigh down in the pants. I intend to wear Manix in my waist band, right rear, handle inside, clip outside pants but under belt. I have used this carry method since I am on the small, skinny, side, and I almost lost a native once, from pocket carry.

You know I need a pocket chainsaw once in a while. I trust Spyderco to grind a blade that will cut.
