Anyone have any feedback or input in MLL Knives in general or specifics to the Jungle model knife? I just ordered one to arrive at the end of July or beginning of August. I have seen some MLL knives here and there on the forums but really have nothing in terms of usage reports, quality of build etc... I am used to excellent fit and finish, will I be disappointed or happy with the purchase? Just looking for some info to pass the time until I get her. The Jungle model looks like it would be a pretty nice general use woods knife IMO. Let me know what you think and as always, pics are awesome!!!

You will not be disappointed in the least. I just got mine a couple weeks ago. I am very pleased with it. The quality of build is superb. It didn't come extremely sharp, but with 01, it didn't take long to get it scary sharp. I believe mine is the Amazon with acid washed steel. For a thick stock blade, it slices very well. I think it will make a good camping/utility blade. Even though I don't do a lot of camping, it's proving to be a great kitchen knife as well.

Do not worry at all. In addition to being a friend of mine, Mario makes a great knife. They are very use-oriented, and work hard. I have two of his knives, the XL Wildland and the Amazon Hunter. Both are great, and work hard. I have used and abused both, and have held up fine. No problems whatsoever. Additionally, Mario is very easy to work with, is one of the few makers I have ever worked with that consistently comes in on or ahead of schedule, and has very fast, trackable shipping from Portugal.

Here are a few pics of the Amazon Hunter, in stainless steel:

And the XL Wildland in O1, I believe:

Let me know if you have any questions, but I think you will be quite happy.

Nice pics guys! Looking forward to picking it up. Always wanted a knife type like the jungle and couldn't bring myself to get the tom brown tracker from tops as it seemed too fluffy to me. I looked into the David Beck version too and I can't afford that one! The jungle looks like a close, affordable option with a bonus of being handmade, which i like.
