Called and talked to Richard ( hell of a nice guy!) and placed an order for a Shrike...so exicted forgot how long he said it would take :). I haven't looked forward to a blade this much in a long time. Anybody else out there have an order in??????

It's the regular. I was caught between the Talon and the regular Shrike. I really liked the simplicy of the Talon but I have yet to read a complaint about the Shrike not being as tough. According to most the Shrike is more durable than the shrike: what ever that means. Truthfully though it reminds me of people discussing motorcycles. Only the top road racers can ever use the full extent of the machine...and thats on the track. I doubt I will be able to "test" the strength of the shrike ...or if the bug bites hard enough and I get a talon.

I have a Kestrel. You will not be disappointed. The only change I made was to reprofile the edge to work better in the woods. It comes with a very high angle grind in order to make it stand up better to urban and CQB use. I will definitely be a repeat customer! I am looking at the Loggerhead. Wait time for me was some 7-8 months, which was longer than quoted. This was over two years ago thou.

Nice

I have a Talon, and I've handled the Shrike before and it is a nice, handy, bad a** tool.

Shrikes should be ready to ship to military personnel in three to four weeks, depending on when the heat treater finishes with the current batch. Clearytja, you ordered the regular 15 1/2 inch Shrike. God bless all of you who have and are serving -rc

I am not military but that is still good news. I am real excited about the Shrike...I read somewhere that somebody was calling them a EDC (every day car) item. Hope the neighbors won't mind watching me carrying it back and forth each morning :).
