Yay my first Spydie!!! For awhile I was dead set on getting a RAT-1 as my next folder/EDC blade but for some reason, I found myself drawn to the Tenacious. Can't wait for it to arrive. I think a Para 2 will end up being my next Spyderco.

I have several spyderco knives, and I still have yet to purchase a tenacious... I think I might have to buy one soon once the wallet becomes full again :(

My first Spydercos were a Tenacious and Sage I. Got them both at the same time. Added to the arachnid population are a Dragonfly in VG10 and a couple of Bugs. All of them see a lot of edc. One of the Bugs is tethered to my cell phone.

Welcome to the Spyderco addiction.

Thanks guys. It's funny, I've liked Spyderco knives for years and handled a few but never took the time to actually purchase one. Like I said I was set on purchasing a RAT-1 but for some reason, I ended up getting the Tenacious instead.

Once you go black . . .

I don't own one myself, but I've heard only good things about the Tenacious. It seems like one of the best deals in the world.

Actually, it is one of the best deals in the world. The real surprise comes when you strop the blade, as it takes an extremely fine edge.

I got my tenacious about three months ago and I love it. As a result, I'm no longer conflicted as to which knife to carry for the day. It's always the Tenacious.

My Tenacious arrived! 2 days earlier than expected too. I've only had it for about 5 minutes but my initial impression is.... I'm very impressed! Hair shaving sharp blade, nice solid lock-up, zero blade play and the blade deploys smoothly (so smoothly to that I'm a little nervous I might cut myself if I'm not careful). The knife is solidly built. It seriously feels like a $100 knife and the fact it only cost $32 shipped is a steal imo. It's a tad larger than I expected and dwarfs my beloved CRKT M16 which is my current EDC blade but the Tenacious feels like a much more sturdy knife. I can safely say I'm glad the Tenacious is the one that popped my Spydie cherry. It's my first Spyderco but definitely not my last, I'm already eyeing a Para 2 or Harpy.
