I ordered an Esee 6 the other night based off some good advice from some on here. Haven't got it yet though... but very anxious! Anyhow was poking around some tonight and found this. This looks like a great price! Does anyone have one of these Buck Skinners? I have read only good things about them. I would like to hear from anyone who has one and what they think? I think I gotta get one of these.

(( rules violation ))

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I heard the pak-lite sheaths kind of suck though.

still a very cool knife.

I have the caper. It comes razor sharp from the factory and is a nice little piece. the handle is a bit short, so if you have really big hands, it might be uncomfortable. The sheath is cordura style with a plastic insert. The blade fits nice and tight and has a slim profile. I think they're great for the price and will probably pick up a skinner in the next few weeks.

I'm fairly new to the forum so maybe I have misread something but our we not allowed to post links. I put a link to where I found the deal I referred to at and I got a thing that said I violated the rules? If I made a mistake sorry, I didn't realize.

Talshiar, you are not allowed to link to dealers who are not paid Bladeforums member Dealers.

From the FAQ:

Auction / Deal / Bargain Spotting

This is a variation of the "no spam" rules that we have. We know you found a great deal on a Ninja Death Tool 3000 - we don't care.

If that dealer wants to advertise on BladeForums.com, encourage them to purchase a Dealer membership here instead of giving them free advertising.

This infraction can be issued as a warning and is worth 10 points towards your total. It expires in 12 months.

Same thing ebay links to live auctions are not allowed either. If they are used educationally (couterfit etc) that is another story.

It should not be that hard to see that this rule is in place for the members and dealers who keep this site open.

I could not agree any more. I think that is right that you want to protect the people that are selling here to and that is why I tell every one at the local gun and knive shows about this site. this is why I became a gold member too. I think that you are doing a very good job. thank you for answering my question and really fast too.
