I ordered a stilleto and a dual action knife from a site in the us i am canadian and on the site there was no information or anything said about these knives prohibited in canada and iv been searching and found half/half answers.

Are theses knifes allowed in canada ? im not going to be walking around with them thats just plane dumb its to add to my collection i have over 350 knives sofar i ordered 6 days ago and i was reading i could get a fine for ordering without declaring them what if i did not know i had to declair it ? Also the merchant said he writes fake things about the object in the package to help it get through customs i dont know what to do sit and wait to see what happens or call someone if so who ?

Also allot of the things that are prohibited in canada are still sold here so i really dont get it anymore!

Switchblades are illegal in Canada, and there's a chance your Customs will seize it. In which case you'll have to just accept the loss.

Also if the site did not say anything anywhere ahould they be in fault or is this my problem ?

They do say it but on another site that is not listed or show anythere on there site !

You say you have over 350 knives but no idea about what's legal in your jurisidiction? You do have problems

I am not in the business, but it would seem that it is the buyer's responsibilty to know what is legal for them to possess. This is the internet for God's sake. Is the seller to post info on the laws of every nation, state, and locality?

Best regards,

Argyll
