Ordered HD7 and CQC12 Comrade

First time Emerson buyer and I didn't want anything to do with liner locks so ordered the knives mentioned in the title. yourcornerstore.com had a handful in stock. By all accounts these are tough mofo knives and I can't wait to get them. I wish EKI would continue production though. Kinda makes me feel like I'm owning a knife that was rejected by its creator.

ernie edc's a production CQC12 FWIW, its not that he doesnt like them, they are just expensive to produce and dont sell well, imho they are the 2 best EKI's by far, ther only production emerson i ever carry is a '12, i am sure ya will like them a lot,

why dont they sell well? imho lotsa folks just dont wanna spend that kinda dollar on a knife.

I think Ernie's EDC is actually an all ti CQC-12. I do know that the 12 is one of his favorite knives. I also heard that one of the reasons the HD knives were discontinued because Ernie liked to be personally involved in the production of them but did not have enough time.
