Ordered a BK2 Friday night for $46. I had a 30% off code so I figured I better make use of it. I had been wanting to try one out for a while and can't wait for it to show up even tho I really don't know exactly what I'm gonna do with it. :) It should ship out today and hopefully be to me by Friday.

what I like to do is I get 2 pieces of wood. Then, I use one piece of wood and use that to force the knife into the other piece of wood. quite fun actually.
 
Also, thanks for the welcomes and I'll be sure to post a couple pics. I do have some large ummmmm, saplings that are growing from a stump that need to be removed. Maybe they will become part of me trying the bk2 out for the first time.
 
You picked a fine knife to start your obsession with. Those saplings don't stand a chance.

I say BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I emailed them back to find out what was actually damaged beings the knife is basically a quarter inch thick hunk of steel and asked if they would consider selling it as is at a discount, but they said no. :( Guess I'll have to look around and find another good price on one.
 
They are a fairly popular online dealer, so I do believe what they said. I just can't imagine why they wouldn't send me the knife as is for what it cost them. If it was just scratched or the edge was messed up a bit that would have been fine. Oh well, I'll find a deal on another one somewhere.
 
Well I ordered another bk2 from another site at a higher price along with some a few other goodies. Hopefully I'll have it by Monday!!!
 
Sorry to hear about your 1st order man, I've had my BK-7 about a week now and love it. Definately see a few more Beckers in my future. Interested to hear what you think of the 2.
