Just placed an order for a standard Large Sebenza. I have been looking at them and fondling both the Large and the Small for quite some time and I was very evenly split between the sizes. Finally decided to just go for the large for the more useful size and if I love it I can get a Small sometime down the road.

I've probably been on the fence for a couple of years at least. I'm glad I was lucky enough to be able to handle all the current options in person before making a decision. I found that I really didn't care for the 25 design at all. Kind of goofy looking to me while the Large 21 has a classic, iconic, and timeless look to it. Really can't wait to have my own in hand.

I also looked at some Inlaid models and I liked the Micarta, but I liked the standard handle the most.

Just thought I'd share. This is the second most expensive knife I've purchased now. :)
 
Congrats! I got the small Sebenza and it is the largest I want for everyday carry. But I know that is a personal choice. My only regret is that i did not get one sooner. I plan on (forcing myself) to use this for everyday use. I do want to get additional CRKs for collector items. Again Congratulations!

I do have a feeling that I'll eventually end up with a small, but I'm very used to blades the size of the large. I live in Phoenix and large knives are all over the place so I don't feel out of place carrying something on the larger side. I occasionally carry a CQC-8 by Emerson that's a fair bit chunkier.
 
Congratulations on your purchase. It took me a couple of years myself to justify but once it was in my hands I had to have more. I should have purchased one years ago and while I like the Sebenza, my favorite has turned out to be a Mnandi.
 
Congrats on you Sebenza! I carry a lg. regular seveal times a week, just a wonderful knife. I am one of those "Cuz I friggin wanna". Most of the time that works for me, in the case of the CRK's (I got a Zaan first) it was a good move. You will love it.
 
The Sebenza 21 is definitely in my top 3 favorite knives that I own. I think you will be happy with your purchase. A 25 was my first CRK, but it just didn't have that classic look the 21 has.

I was really glad I found a place that carries them. And it's actually a private gun store. They just happen to have a great knife case, too!
 
Congrats, IMBW. If what happened to me happens to you, your Sebenza will become your reference folder. . . the yardstick you'll use to judge all your other folders by. Just be prepared to pay more to support your hobby from now on than you used to. ;)
