Ordered my first Emerson...

That's it! Couldn't take it anymore :o. I broke down, and ordered my first Emerson an hour ago: The CQC10, satin finish, plain edge. :D

Can't wait to play with this bad boy...Should be here next week or so.

In the meantime, ease my pain please! Post pics, videos, opinions, whatever on the CQC10!
 
Heck...I placed my order tonight at 16:21 and it got shipped at 18:31; how's that for fast shipping :eek:

- The Emerson CQC-10 is hands down my favorite knife. The ergonomics, blade shape, handle shape and thumb hole is just fantastic.

- I just posted pictures of my customized CQC-10. Something to look at while you wait for yours to arrive. :p
 
I received it tonight! What a great knife! Free (bad) pic:

I really like the ergo on this knife. The blade is centered, no blade play, pretty smooth opening (not "glass" smooth but great anyway), comfortable and easy to open and close, wave works perfectly (I still have to practice a bit, though), nice finish on the blade, nice and even grinds, and it cuts great!

Mr Emerson, I might not always agree with some of your opinions, but you make a great product. Many thank!
 
nice knife! I noticed you are a fellow Canadian and you said you ordered your Emerson. I'm looking to order one on the near future and wondering where you ordered yours from.

Warriorsandwonders.com is a well known Canadian supplier, they have a better selection than many places down here in the states.

Glad you like it, the action will smooth out once those nylatron washers wear a bit, they just get smoother with age! :)

Did you order from emerson directly? I'm still waititng on my cqc8 18 weeks and counting they told me it could take this long though i'm a bit over anticipating it!
