...the Chill. I generally like clean lines (in most everything) & this knife has it. I'm also interested in trying out the Flipper. I typically hate thumb studs because of my fat thumb, which is why I'm a Spydie guy, but variety is the spice of life. :)

My current EDC is a Sage (CF) & I love that knife. However, it might be nice to have a budget-priced option ($17.06 & free shipping with Amazon Prime). The Chill is also lighter & has a smaller footprint (despite it having a slightly longer blade).

Any comments on the Chill?

The Chill is a neat little flipper, very light and very nice design. Te blade steel is a bit on the soft side, so it needs to be touched up often, but I liked it when I carried it. I think you will be pleased, especially at that price point. Enjoy.

Well I don't have the chill but I've been most impressed with Kerhsaw for the value than any other knife. I love the flipper design, but only have the spring assisted flippers (Shallot and Leek). If the Chill follows in those footsteps you'll love it!

It's got G10 scales, elegant design by a professional, and with a bit of tweaking comes out fast (even without assisted opening) and locks up pretty solid. It has a smaller footprint than the Sage probably due to its thinness from scale to scale and narrowness from spine to edge. It's obviously not built for heavy duty use, but for most everyday tasks you'll find it very adequate.

I've got one and I absolutely love it! It's especially nice having a knife clipped to my person that's so light I don't have to be consciously aware of it at every moment. Being a budget option, its steel isn't going to be fantastic, but should you wreck it, it won't cause you terrible pain. Overall a very nice knife for EDC. :)

The chill is a really nice little blade, it's actually what I consider to be my first "true" knife (I bought a Smith and Wesson knife that was just horrible, which I returned and got the Chill with), it's what started me on with the Kershaw bug, if you will.

My blade was not horribly sharp out of the box, but sharper then the blade I purchased before it, so if you have the equipment, you may want to give it a nice touch up before you start judging it. For the $17 price tag (from Amazon, at least) it's a great little blade, and really well suited to EDC, provided you only plan to use it within a utility POU.

If your anything like me, you'll end up with a 1760 Skyline... then a Volt II, then another Skyline... :D

The Kershaw Chill is one heck of a knife especialy when the price is considered it's an incredible bang for your buck and designed by R.J Martin also the 8CR13MOV blade steel isn't half bad and can take a scary sharp edge in no time.
