Hello. I ordered the Chiruwa AK yesterday and had some questions about the shipping. Do I need a Yahoo account to recieve the confirmation email or will any email be good (I have gmail). Also wondering about how long it takes to recieve the confirmation email (I rarely order stuff online but when I saw the kukri I had to)because I haven't recieved it yet. Is it instant or are there certain shipping days? I entered the tracking number and it said it's not located or something like that so I take it maybe it hasn't been verified yet? Thanks for the help

I ordered and use Gmail. I had no issues, though I did not receive a computer assisted ordering confirmation. The one I got was from Auntie Yangdu.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for replying. Maybe I need to wait a bit more for a confirmation.

yeah give auntie time, she very busy these days, but always works hard to please the customer-- do her a solid and give it some time, she will do you right, without fail.

CubeLW this is not an automated system, Like the manufacture of these knives the order process is a hands on manual one. Auntie will respond as soon as she is able with the information needed. She will take good care of you once she is able to. I hope you enjoy your first HI blade.

Youll probably have it in your hands before the tracking no registers. If its in stock she probably already shipped it and if not she will usually let you know via email very soon.

To be honest, there may be a slight delay right now. Auntie is dealing with some real life things at present and we are hoping to resume normality in a week or two.
She is still checking emails and orders as she can and will process you as soon as she is able. Please understand and bear with us.

Himalayan Imports received your order for CAK Khukuri.
Currently we do not have the CAK in stock. We will ship the CAK when shipment from Nepal arrives here within a month.
Thank you for your patience and warm welcome to the HI and blade fourm

Hello everyone and thanks for the responses. Hello again Yangdu! We spoke over email about the CAK and we decided on the 21inch Chitlangi that shipped yesterday. I'll definitely save up for the CAK when they are back in stock. Thanks again

The 21" Chitlangi is gonna be sweet! Nice buy.

Waiting on the CAK will be hard, but once you get it, the wait will definately have been worth it.

What do you do with a 21" Chitlangi? I just picked up a blem, and I haven't really put it to use yet. The thing is solid, but I always see Karda's warnings about it not being warranted for "field use". By the looks of it, I'm sure it can handle small branches. I'm just really curious about what everyone uses a long Chit for?

Field Use - As defined by Himalayan Imports:
Chopping wood, limbing trees, clearing trails, camp use, properly batonning firewood.

General Use - As defined by Himalayan Imports :
Clearing light brush, light household chores, caping or skinning of game.

The following models are warranted for "Field Use" and are warranted against breakage during "normal use". They are NOT warranted against MISUSE or ABUSE (intentional or otherwise) as determined by/at the discretion of Himalayan Imports, Its owners and/or staff.

All other models made by Himalayan Imports should be considered for General Use only and, while still covered under our LIMITED WARRANTY, may not be covered if the product has not been used within the guidelines stated above, especially in cases deemed to have been caused by carelessness or abuse. Still warranted for general use. Just don't try to baton some firewood with it or chop down a whole tree!

I don't think people will going to use 21" Chitlangi cutting down the whole tree! It is sense of humour abuse using it in a wrong way.
