On its way from Neil at TNK. Now back to what you were working on... :D

Yes, Please Share !!! What kind of wood did you get. I did have 5 mnandi, but I recently traded one for a CRK Neil Roberts Warrior. The mnandi remain one of my CRK favorites. I am glad I still have 4 mnandi to play around with. My remaining mnandi are Cocobolo, Bocote, Jigged Madagascar Rosewood, and Camel Thorne. I like the mnandi so much I know I will get more down the road. They are the perfect small pocket knife and with CRK quality, it only makes them better. I have used my cocobolo/damascus mnandi for some pretty heavy duty chores and it is ever better and tougher than you could imagine. Please post pics when you get your mnandi, cant wait to see !!!

my mammoth ivory mnandi is one of my most prized knives. it is elegant and crk strong.

I got my first Mnandi back in December as a late Christmas gift to myself. Truly an awesome little knife. Be sure to post pics when you get it.

I don't like wood handles much, but I sure do like a creamy ivory. :D

Just got a great deal on a Camel Thorn Mnandi and I'm looking forward to its arrival. My older son has a Walnut. Sebenza sort of has 4x4 written all over it. The Mnandi is a whole different ride. Mike, with all the choices, there's gotta be some wood that appeals? ;) (YMMV!)

I think the snakewood looks great especially with some nice Devin Thomas damascus but I went for ivory and straight up S30V on this one. There's always the future and I've been known to come around to new aesthetics over time. :D

I went with the white mastadon ivory & H/C Devin Thomas ladder damascus

I recently traded one, but still have 4 left. Here is one of my favorites. Its " Jigged Madagascar Rosewood " There is not much grain to it because of the " Jigged " look, but its very unique and reminds me of the old " Jigged Bone " you used to see on many old pocket knives. Real cool and grippy.

Nice knives Tom, The basket weave is my favorite pattern, I have 2 large sebenza's with basket weave but I can't bring myself to carry them, They are safe queens. Of all the woods CRK offers Madagascar Rosewood Jigged bone
is my favorite. I want a large classic in that. I think Only Fine Knives has one.
Just need the extra dough. :D:D:D Rick :D:D:D

Rickster, I have never seen a sebenza with the jigged madagascar rosewood. That would be unique. I have seen the jigged mnandi on different sites, but its much nicer to see in person. You will definately appreciate it more.........The basketweave was my first mnandi and got a steel on it. I have used it extensively and it has never marked. The basketweave is an exclusive to TNK I think. I could be wrong, but I know its exclusive to one company. Its hard to beat any damascus, I will only buy the stainless damascus though.
Thanks,
Tom

That is AWSOME............I have never seen that one before. I never cared for the 21's pointy blade, but have always liked the classic with the writing on it. I know the 21 & classic have the same blade. But I am thinking I would like a large classic. This is one of the nicest I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing Rickster :)

That's a pretty sweet blade!

I got to looking at the Ivory and Damascus Mnandis after this thread but damn they do cost. But if you got the money they're more than worth it. I will get one someday.

I'm still really stoked to see the performance of the Damascus. This thing is great. I broke down sone cardboard yesterday and it still shaved. Wasn't hairpopping but it shaved. Took it home ran it on the DMT EF and it's popping hairs again.

It is an awsome steel. I think its more durable and holds a better edge than the S30V, but it is expensive like you said. You could buy 2 sebbies for what you will pay for one with damascus. I got this mnandi for $380 on ebay last spring. I looked on other sites and this exact knife is $625 the one time I looked. So I saved a alot. They said it was carried, but it was spotless when I got it. I know alot of people are anti-ebay, but there is some deals if you happen to come across them. I do wanna get a damascus sebenza someday, perferably in the regular profile.

I got the Mnandi today and of course it's amazing. I like the Sebenzas though I have to say it generally felt like what I was expecting when I got it. The Umnumzan and Mnandi on the other hand have both exceeded my expectations. The action is so smooth, how do they do it!? :D

I'll post pics when I get a chance.
