Ordered my lite machete!

Ahhh yeah! Just ordered my ESEE lite machete from knivesshipfree. I was browsing on their site earlier and it wasn't there. I noticed a little bit later that it was! Placed me an order for a lite machete and two AH-1 arrowheads :D! I'm stoked to say the least...can't wait for them to get here.

I used to live in Panama and we used machetes all the time for everything from cutting open pipas (coconut) to drink their water, to doing yard work. It'll be fun and handy to have a knice:p one around.
 
Awesome! I am thinking about ordering one myself. I think it would be real handy for early archery season and just to have around the farm.
 
ordered mine from KSF.. was wondering about sharpening the machete once it goes dull.. should I use the regular leather strop and green/black compound to sharpen every convex.. knife & machete alike ?
 
I just ordered the lite machete along with one AH-1 arrowhead from KSF. Man I am excited! Now I play the waiting game :cool:
 
Looks like its going to be a really good machete, perfect for clearing grass and weeds in the yard.
 
Cannot wait to get this machete and hack up some stuff with it. You got the jump on me. KNIFEABILITY-a must for all humans
 
And everyone remember it's Condor/Imacasa that does the blades on them! It's wonderful to see my two favorite companies working together. :cool:
 
Just pushed the trigger button for an order myself and also bought one of the custom leather sheaths for my RC-3 forum knife :D This will be my first machete. Glad its going to be a Rat!
 
I went ahead and ordered the lite machete also. my last one I bought in Chiapas in 1992 and carried it back tied to my small duffel carry on stowed in overhead bin and thru customs in Miami. Try doing that now! I use a flat file on my old machete, the machete didn't cost but a few pesos. also got arrowhead to put in my kit.
 
I was actually going to hold off, but the thought of flaunting my purchase to TheGame in W&SS chat provided just enough inertia for me to follow my compulsion ;)

Well, not my first machete. But my first ESEE machete!:D
 
I got impatient. Ordered one from KSF, one from TKC. and 2 leather condor sheaths from god knows where. Let's see which arrives first :)
 
Ordered mine from the TNC. I am looking forward to checking it out and getting that yard work done :)
