Ordered new knives!!!!!.....can't wait!!!

I just bought two new knives online today. the Boker Rhino Stag and a victorinox pioneer!
I can't wait to recieve them in the mail and will post pics for anyone interested.

this will be my first SAK and from the look of them its not going to be the last!
 
Congratulations on your new purchases theaxel. I just ordered a few myself. Now time slows down with no mail service on Sunday's and some retailers closed for the week-end. Just have to patiently wait for the middle of the week, so we can bask in the joy that new knives bring. To help pass the time I'm going to do some yard work, and sharpen some of my current knives. Good luck with your new blades.
 
I ordered a Spyderco Manix 2 XL, a Spyderco Byrd series Cara Cara 2, a Spyderco series Crossbill plain edge, and for kicks a Schrade sch302. I have not owned a schrade up till now so I thought I'd check one out.
 
that's right you do lol you haven't truly lived until you have owned a spydie :) nice knives both of you. Im still waiting for my ZT 0561 hard to keep your mind off a new buy while its in transit hahaha
 
I once had two knives take just over two months to get to me. Probably because of the stupid Aussie customs :mad:
 
Yeah Ive heard aussies have it rough when it comes to acquiring new knives. Customs in general suck specially when they nail you with all the tax and handling fees.
 
yeah its a pain. and no one handed opening knives!!!! although there are ways around it if you know how
 
yeah Germany has some strange knife laws aswell. Like if its 1 handed then it cant lock and if it locks it cant be 1 handed.
 
one way of getting a one handed knife is to ask the dealer to tighten the pivot screws so it can't be opened one handed(you adjust them later) or you ask them to remove the thumb stub if its removable and just leave it in a plastic bag in the box.
this all depends on your dealer though and that all depends on the customs officer that checks the knife.
 
Gotta love ordering new stuff. This week I ordered a Buck 119 Special, a Buck 110 from the Custom Shop, the classic Ka-bar USMC knife, the Burst and Tremor from Kershaw's budget line, and the aluminum handled CRKT Ripple. Can't wait for them to arrive...

I'm waiting for a Benchmade 810, Buck/Strider 889, and a Boker Anti-MC.

For a budget knife the tremor is a real steal. Great value, very well built. I've been nothing but happy when using it. Good luck with it and the rest of the knives your waiting on DShiflet.

Yeah, I don't have the Tremor yet, but I have a bunch of Kershaw's other budget line knives(Clash, Compound, OSO Sweet, etc), and I love em, really good bang for the buck with those knives, and if you lose one or manage to break one(I haven't broken any of mine personally, but then some people use their knives to dig through soil or pry open rocks and such), hey, you're only out $20.
 
theaxel and I must have been on the same page that day! I also ordered a stag Rhino and a Vic Yeoman by SwissBianco... Both of which should be waiting at the door when I get home...
