Today I was at a friend of mines house saw this flashlight, and I thought it would make a great flashlight for edc in my back pocket. I ordered it today. If you have one tell me what you think of it. Remember it just for average use not heavy duty use. I have had a keychain mag lite and was very unhappy it.

The streamlight stylus is very well made, with good runtimes but not very bright. something like the iTP A3 EOS (or its identical twin the Maratac AAA) offers 3x more light in a much smaller and lighter package, they have 3 modes of brightness as well to save on battery life and the quality/pricing is superb. I have the maratac version and absolutely love it, the medium brightness setting puts out the same amount of light as my Stylus Pro and gives me over 5 hours runtime on a single rechargeable duracell AAA, while the high mode puts out 3-4x as much light but only runs for about 75 minutes or so on the same battery. Personally I prefer the knurling on the maratac version of this light (I carry in pocket), but if you plan to use it as a keychain light the ITP version is much better set up for that. you can check out the iTP lights here:
Standard Edition- 1 setting: 80 lumens
Upgrade Edition- 3 settings 1.5,18,80 lumens
and the maratac version:
Maratac version, 3 modes same as iTP upgrade edition but with knurling

I have the 1 AAA microstream that I have been EDC for over a year now. It is a great little light. I know it was money well spent. But the new Maratac or iTP is head and shoulders above it.
Good luck with whatever you choose.

I have the smaller version of this light (1 AAA) and I like it a lot. It isn't the brightest out there but it has worked well for the last year or so.

I got my streamlight stylus pro in the mail today. I really like it so far it is pretty bright fits nicely in my hand. I have a feeling i am really going enjoy using it.:D
