Ordered Some Bucks

Well, today I finally ordered an AG110, which is finally in stock up here, and I decided to get an FG 112. Now, normally I try to be like Decaf Dave and only buy 110's, but as soon as I saw the 112, I knew that I just had to have one. The 112 just looks so sleek and comfortable, that I can't resist.

I must repeat Dave's mantra, "I only collect 110's...I only collect 110's...I only collect 110's?" ;)

I hear ya, S&W! I haven't handled one yet, but if it is anything like the picture, I have a feeling that a new obsession is just around the corner. :)

@ 2TONYB - I have been lusting after an AG 110 for some time now. I am really looking forward to some Paul Bos treated S30V. :thumbup:

ya ... i was a going to collect the half sized 110 as a babby bro in matched set with a full sized 110
my brother - bucksway- took a likeing right away to the 112
seems he got a
buck custom damascuss balde
in a nickel frame
with real elephant ivory
and custom schrimshaw on it
about a 350 dollar half sized 110
for a chrismanss present...
he did not know what he had then....
you betcha he does now!!!
he even joined the BCCI !
he is like Goose ... gota ware it for duc...
then he proceded to strip me of every 112 i had...
so i dont / wont touch them now,,,
humph.... darn girls knife any way...:eek:
 
I cannot believe you ordered one AG110... you'll surely want to carry it... then you'll want an unused 'display' version. It is that nice. Really, that is a super 110 - and a basic 110 is a super knife. I guess that makes it 'super-super'? Barf!

I love my two Custom Shop 110s... especially the teardrop Damascus one. But, that AG110 is my 'sharpest', both in looks and edge. Of course, do as I say... not as I do (I am a retired college instructor...) - I still don't have my 'backup' AG110. I also have considered the FG 112 as both my first FG and first 112... let us know how that works out! Congratulations!

Heh, well Dave, I was thinking of Bucksway when I ordered the 112. My thoughts were that if he thinks that much of them, then I gotta see what all the fuss is about.

Stainz, ya caught me! I confess that my usual modus operandi is to have one for 'show' and one to go. It's a bit more expensive that way, but it makes for a guilt free 'user'. ;)

And Goose, I think you are right, resistance is futile, as atm I am wearing a 277 while 'playing' with my BP 271. :eek::D
