Okay, finally, after weeks of intensive research and lost ebay bids, I ordered my spyderfly from newgraham. I can't wait. Believe it or not, this will be my very first Spyderco. I very very nearly ordered a Vagabond too, but I think it'll have to wait.
As for the elusive girlfriend, she decided on a straight edge, olive drab tanto mini griptilian w/t thumbstud. She really does love the tanto style. I was really surprised that she was really into the olive color....weird. But it makes things all the simpler. She'll be upgrading from the Kershaw Scallion in Zytel that I bought for her to a Benchmade minigriptilian. That's quite an upgrade indeed.
Here's the kicker: she bought her knife, and then she paid for nearly half of mine. Then she started dinner.
