Ordering a Busse.

This is just my second post on this forum. Y'all have been more than helpful so far.

I want to order a Battle Mistress or similar other thick, badass chopping Busse blade. I've visisted the Busse combat website and looked at the knife on there. I've got people telling me that these are not currentlyh being made. What's the story on trying to order a Busse right now? I'm in the desert and real eager to buy this beast (even if I'm not gonna strap the mammoth on my kit), but I'm wondering about the wait time and if direct shipping here would be possible. I was wondering if you guys could give me a quick rundown, as I have limited internet access. I hope this isn't a hopeless endeavor.

Thanks again fellers.

(Maybe I'll post a pic of my busted ass TOPS Tracker knife for y'all to scoff at)

The cycle "usually" works that the blade in question goes into production once it is taken down from the Busse Combat website for ordering. After that the most popular variations are offered at the Company Store. I have seen posts here of anywhere on 12-18 weeks so far on the FBM, but that may be purely speculation run through the ususal well aged alcohol algorithm. :D

I would love to see the crappy broken tops!

They put the knives on their site then you order and then they ship in about 2-4 months and they take the knife down and put up another and the cycle repeats only to take our money for INFI!

Let me get this straight. Sorry if I'm sounding like a retard.

Okay..
The battle mistress that is shown under 'knives' on the site can be ordered here: "http://bussecombat.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?" and recieved (possibly) in around 2-4 months?

If so I think I'm gonna throw my order in. Unless something great pops up on ebay or the for sale forum.

COK, if you're in the desert right now and will have the knife shipped to an APO address, you may want to state so in the Knives Wanted forum in the Exchange. Guys that wouldn't normally part with a knife will sometimes let one go to one of our good guys. That might get you a Fusion Steel Heart in less than three weeks, APO shipping accounted for.

Then put your order in for the FBM if you think you'll have that kind of money in a few months. But of course, considering you're tax free, you can consider it your tax payment for that month!

As for carrying a Mammoth or Bohemoth in combat, when I was mobile I had a BM and an S-7 mega-Tomahawk somewhere in the vehicle. When I was on foot I still had a BM in my 3day/medic pack, and usually a Natural Outlaw or CRK GB on my belt.

INFI and SGLI. Great insurance.

Or you can get a Battle Mistress on a well known auction site in a few days provided you are willing to pay the piper so to speak.
