Here is some more bad news for you who have orders with the Emerson Group.
Fact invoice #407 was delivered July 31st 1999. Invoice #432 was delivered in February 2000. Both were CQC6's and both took 5 1/2 years from original delivery dated (initially quoted 6 months). My attorney received his in October, but could not find his invoice.
Yes, upon request I can produce names and address's of these individuals. Currently, Im trying to get copies of the invoices.
The good news for these individuals is that Emerson did honor his price at that time $375.00!
So that is 25 knives in 8 months. This of course does not include show knives and may or may not include military and LEO orders.
So the individual who had a serial number in the 500's, made the comment that he must have missed the Big Brown truck when Derek made the statement that invoices in the 700 range.
To that individual, you did not miss the truck. At the current rate of production you have about two more years before the truck gets to your location.
Derek, judging by the comments from all in this threads. Coupled, with the "new" invoice information. It may be advisable to ask Ernie exactly what invoice number he is currently working on.
Im sure there is a reasonable explanation. Exactly what number invoices are being delivered? Are their different invoice books for different knives? I ask that as, it would appear from your earlier comments that there is only one master invoice list.
Anyone out there with a invoice number above 450 get a custom knife yet? If so speak up and let us know what knife it was.
I have had this information for almost two months. The only reason I have posted this now is to spare future knife collectors (like the one who started this thread)the agony of the "ever extending delivery date".
Sorry AC, but its best to go into a situation with your eyes wide open.
As others have stated, I do have CQC6's for sale.
