Ordering a TEK LOK for my BK2?

Hi Guys,

So far I have not yet stripped the coating of my new BK2, but I have started working on the sheath: I have removed the ballistic nylon part of the sheath and I am now looking for a TEK-LOK.

From what I have read and seen on the forums it seems that the LARGE TEK-LOK perfectly fits the three mounting holes on the sheath where the nylon was attached.

Can anyone please confirm this for me? Is there any drilling required?

Once again nobody over here seems to stock the TEK-LOK or even know about it, so I have to order from the US again. This costs extra and takes a few weeks. Before going to all this trouble I would just like to confirm that I am getting the right product....

The three mounting holes on the sheath measure about 37mm (center to center distance between the outer pair of holes).

The distance between holes in the large tek lok is 1.5 inches. The Tek lok does fit onto the sheath. 37 mm is 1.45 in so it will fit most likely.

There are a few places in Europe and the UK where tek loks can be purchased.

I am going to start planning a few designs on computer first. I can design just about anything on computer, but getting something built is a problem.

An ideal solution would be to use Kydex since it can be easily be shaped, cut, screwed, bolted and formed. Now I am again sitting with the problem that nobody over here has kydex.

Guess I will have to try some local stuff first.
 
Just tried a large tek-lok on the 2's clip plate and it works fine. No drilling or modding needed...
 
I just ordered a large TEK-LOK for my BK2 sheath. I watched a you tube video from some guy who had put one on his BK2 sheath. It seemed to work great.
 
I've attached large Tek-Loks on both of my BK2s. They fit like they were made for the sheath!
Purchase with confidence that they will fit.
 
I have a large Tek-lok on my BK9 with my kydex sheath. Perfect for belt or pack carry.
 
I got my TEK-LOK Friday night installed it Saturday morning and I want to do nothing but wear the thing now. I love the way it changed the look and stability of the whole thing.

Exactly right. I have the new generation Large TekLok on my kydex BK2 sheath and LOVE IT. It fits perfectly - like they were made for each other. I'm very happy with it and it's also adjustable as to belt width and also as to the mounting height on the belt.

Buy it with confidence, it's a fantastic improvement on the BK2 sheath. I always liked the BK2 kydex sheath but didn't like the low-hanging nylon web belt loop. I like my sheath up close and snug at my side, not flopping around against my hip or thigh. I wear my BK2 alot, open and on my belt, so getting in and out of the truck, sitting in chairs, etc is MUCH easier with the TekLok IMHO.
