Ordering first RAT

Hi,
I'm finally going to order my first RAT but I'm torn between the RC-3 and HEST. I can't get both at the moment. Such a tough decision.
 
I think you get a whole package with the HEST, that is if you get a serialized one. Both look like great knives. Perhaps you're just better off flipping a coin? :p
 
Are you going to carry it? Is it legal blade? Do you care if it is?Do plan on buying another bigger knife or smaller? The HEST is legal in most area's but if you don't care I would get the RC3 because it has a little more blade length. Unless you plan on opening bottles and prying with your knife. If you plan on getting a bigger knife I would get the Hest because it's smaller and probably easier to carry? How are you going to use it? I orded a RC4 and a Hest cuz I couldn't decide :) Maybe just flip a coin :)
 
That is a tough decision. The hest is such a good looking blade. Good luck, you can't go wrong with either.

Both would be legal to carry. my next purchase will probably be an Izula. I really like the design of the HEST.

Yeah, I ordered a Hest ,Rc4 and Izula. I know I'm going to end up with all of them if i want to or not :). I wasn't going to get the Izula because I have folders the same size. But it's a cool knife. The Hest is a tad bigger and still legal to carry so I ordered that. So between the Hest and RC3 if you aren't ordering any more Rats I probably would get the RC3 because it's bigger. But since the Hest aren't shipping? Buy a Rc3 then a Izula since they are easier to find. Then a Hest cuz you will eventually ime :D Good luck
 
I would get the HEST first, but that just me. You can't go wrong with either one.
 
I just oredered my first as well lasty night. A RC-3 mil, and an Izula. I didn't care for the spike looking things on the handle fore and aft, I think it's a personal thing.
