Ordering from Aldo

Heeding a lot of advice on this forum recommending Aldo for a steel source, I've been unable to place an order for the past week due to his weak web page. On my first attempt last week, the "store" section wasn't available. Now today it is, however when I try to check out a banner pops up telling me to pick a shipping method. Well, there is no method to pick! I've searched and searched and its a dead end.

Is anyone else having problems trying to order from Aldo? I'm about ready to throw in the towel and order my stuff elsewhere!!

This is aggravating and I have to vent.:mad:

I think the best way is to call him. But if you're having problems, and you need the stuff soon, then go somewhere else. It's good to have multiple sources, so you aren't stuck waiting for someone.
 
Yes, I checked his web page Tuesday and the same problem came up for me. I sent him an email and asked him to call me. The steel was ready to ship the next day.
 
I always just call him, too. I wonder how he gets anything done with all of us yapping at him all day?
 
I emailed him to tell him his website is broken, he told me his web designer was working on the site live and it should be fixed soon. I agree, calling him or emailing him gets me steel on my porch in 3 days if he has it in stock (which except for the 2 inch square 1045 I want for making hammers he always has what I need)

Call him. I think they were having some software/hardware/website issues the last time I called.
 
I just call him, it will save you heart ache. his web page is not fixed and he will tell you about it:) one day he'll get it fixed. I ordered some CPM and D2 yesterday and should have it by Monday. he ships fast and is great about getting you what you need. just call him 826-203-8160
 
I've never had luck on his website (even the old one). I've resolved to just calling him - that way I have what I need within a few days.
 
I ordered a couple sticks of stainless off the website a couple weeks ago. I received it two days later. So it worked for me. :thumbup:
 
A few weeks ago I tried ordering on his site with no luck. I called him, and he emailed me a quote, and I placed my order. Had the material in a few days. From now on I'll just call..plus he is fun to talk to.
