I knowm the knives are up for only a short period of time. So how does it work ordering them from the site? Are they selling knives that are already made, or is it like preorder where they see what everyone orders and then makes and ships them later?

I've been thinking about the NMSNFO versus the Hellrazor from the input of several people and am thinking about ordering one, just wondered what to expect.

Oh yeah -- urban gray or jungle green? :D

The knife run seems to start close to the end of the ordering phase, so you have some time to save up. :)

Choice of the two? Jungle Green. :D

It's a preorder. Folks make their orders, and Busse starts making knives to fill those orders, usually before the knife is taken down from the site. The knives are shipped "when they're ready", which could be very soon, or not soon at all. But basically, a nice preorder style system.

Oh yeah -- urban gray or jungle green? :D

Sage. Or black. :p Out of those two you listed, jungle green looks better.

I hate the sage color. <ducks>
How would black on black work (I like the black canvas, or maybe the B&W G10).

Black on black is nice and simple - not fancy, but it works. One of my favourites. The black & tan G-10 is a lot flashier and prettier, of course.

Here's a black / black canvas NMFBM.

Get the NMSFNO that's availabe for order now, and save some bucks over the secondary market. Plus it's bigger, which makes it a perfect first Busse cuz you're gonna want to beat on some wood with it. Definitely get the Jungle Green over the Urban Grey. Black Micarta with Jungle Green is what I went with on this one.

Busse order process:

1. Jerry makes an announcement on the forums of what the next available knife might be.
2. Many sleepless nights and speculation on the forum of what color combos, blade lengths, etc. it might be.
3. More sleepless nights and day sweats thinking about said possible knife.
4. Jerry posts teaser pics of said knife.
5. More sleepless nights, more speculation, people start selling valuables to prepare.
6. The official post stating it will be available on the site that evening is made by Jerry.
7. The sound of hundreds of F5 keys clattering drowns out crickets everywhere, more sweating.
8. Jerry posts a "GO!" and the internets sag under the pressure of everyone ordering.
9. Many "I Scored" posts are made, some pass out under the pressure of deciding on blade/handle combo decisions.
10. Many sleepless nights pass, sometimes more than others. Bank sites go offline from too many Hogs checking to see if their credit card has been charged yet.
11. Someone posts pictures of their newly delivered baby on the site.
12. There is much rejoicing.
13. More pictures daily appear as proud papas start banging and chopping various organic, and in some odd cases, non-organic items laying around the yard.
14. The cycle begins again.
