I always wonder are laptops, macs and PC's getting replaced? What does everybody use when ordering online? I find myself using my smart phone for everything all the time but still have to use my Laptop to update and confirm security info.. Sometimes it's easier to use my laptop, using my smart phone is much more of a convenience.

I use my iPad/iPhone for everything. Even replying now! ;),

Works for me!

Even with all the current security apps and software available for smart phones and tablets I'm still not comfortable using them for credit card transactions. I'll use my phone as a wireless hotspot for my notebook PC, but that's about it.

ya it's like rolling the dice.. but sometimes you just have to do it.

General Knife Discussion is NOT Bladeforums bulletin board. This topic has nothing to do with knives.

I use a combination of my Iphone and laptop usually before I place an order I ask my co-workers if they want anything so we can all split on shipping in which case I order on my phone. while sitting back watchin some tv I'm on my laptop and order from there

Just can't beat a full blown keyboard for data entry. Often times ordering something online requires too much data entry for my smartphone and sausage fingers. If I'm ordering from a site that already has my info I might use my phone if I've got to order it right then and there and a computer isn't close by.

Looking at knives or other products for sale on a 3" screen?!? Heck no, I want to see what I'm buying before pushing the buttons. That means a real computer, with a real monitor.

My laptop is set up like a PC (separate keyboard/mouse, TV as monitor), so I checked both of those. I also order a lot of stuff from my Android phone. Some websites aren't very phone-friendly, or have godawful apps (like BestBuy), so a computer is much more preferred. However, sometimes using an app is easier, and far more convenient. For example, if you're away from home, but you're watching or bidding on an eBay auction that's ending soon.

heck noo I want to go to the store and play with the laptop or phone that I am looking to buy. now if you are talking about knifes then laptop by internet.
