Wow Bill you are a knife making machine! They look outstanding.

I hope you get through everything well and are feeling better soon. We all want your knives but we want you feeling better too! Get some rest brother, you deserve it.

BA, good to see you up and at least pounding the keyboard. This is my own personal feeling, and maybe others here on your forum as well, but I would rather have you up & running 110%, in good health & that humor of yours, than to have to say to someone when I showed them one of your knives, "Yep, that is a good looking knife & the guy was a great maker, but he doesn't make them anymore due to his health" . . . . . .
Your well being & friendship is more important to me personally than a due date for one of my knives.
I know this is easy to say, but quit worrying about things you can't control right now, and take care of the things you can, i.e, yourself, your mind set, & your body. You will be up and running in no time and be back in that shop with the sparks "aflyin'" . . . . and this story will be something to talk about when next summer rolls around . . . . :)
Take care, rest, and get your mind somewhere peaceful (Dale Hollow, Kentucky Lake, etc. etc. ) . . .
Be safe.

Bill, take it easy for a while, as Just1mor said we would rather have you back at full strength than burnt out. Chin up and if you need to chat we are here for you

Ooh is that a couple of snub nose blades I spy.....are they spoken for?

All the best

Keith

Remember Bill that you can't take care of your customers if you don't take care of yourself. Nobody is going to be mad if they have to wait an extra month. Just tell all the customers that you made it BIG and knives will take a year or two to complete. LOL Take it easy brother. You got the knives started, we all understand. Nice stuff there too.

yeah there are 2 snubs neither are spoken for, thanks for the thoughts keith

Bill, In the photo of the blades here there are 3 large blades in the middle. The one on the left of them (the recurve); can you give me the specs on that one or is it spoken for? Thanks.

Bill, gotta take care of yourself first brother. Without you, there are no Backwoods knives. Glad to see you in the ring again.

First priority is yourself, Bill. I don't care how long my order takes, it gets done when it gets done. All I care is that you stay healthy.

I'm moving this Friday for graduate school anyway, you can hold off finishing it until you're fully recovered as I don't know what my apt. address is going to be yet.

I'm praying for a quick surgery and a easy recovery!

God's blessings,

Todd

Nice looking batch -- the big one in the middle -- any chance it's not called for yet?
That would make a great WIP/Kit blade for someone with large hands... :D

seriously -- hope you get to feeling better soon and that once the surgery is over the anxiety will calm down.

Great batcha knives,BA!

Please listen to the common thread running thru this:

Take some time to get better, bro.....and don't fret about being sidelined temporarily.

Take care of your self now Bill. Don't try to come back to soon or you'll just make it take longer. The customers will be here when you are back to 100%, they'll wait. There is only one you, so take care of yourself.
