Oregon the man, he is a king among men :)
Steve, kindly sent me some wonderful goodies, Thank You!!

The 424 stayed in the package just long enough to get a photo, then went directly into my pocket ;)
The handle of a 501 is perfectly sized for my hand, and so is the 424!!
I also loved seeing the BOS logo associated with 420HC on the packaging :)
At 1.4 ounces, you can barely tell it is even in your pocket!
I love the no nail nick blade too.

The folding scissors are awesome too, I haven't even seen a pair of those in years.

The 3rd item had me stumped for a few minutes..... then I realized they were nail clippers!
I suspect Steve used his jedi powers of the force to detect that I needed to trim my figernails.....hahahahhaa!!

This just made my day sweet!

DC,

Steve sent you a new grooming kit! A 424 shaver, folding mustache trimmer, and nose hair clipper. Looking forward to some new photos;).

Hahahahaha!!! BOOM!!!

The 424 actually shaves really nicely :)
And that was actually the very first thing I did with it ;)

Oh Chris! I scored a 424 from a pawnshop this weekend. The date stamp put it at 1995. It still had the factory edge on it. Very slightly used. It has my patented "Stupidsharp" edge now. :)

Score!!

I search high and low around here, pawn shops, garage sales, thrift stores, and never once have seen a Buck knife for sale at any of them

The place I went was in Robbins, NC. It's a gun and knife store. I think the next time i go I'm going to take a bag of knives with me and work out some trades. He had a protech? Knife that I couldn't figure out how to open. But mostly loads of old buck knives

Chris, Yes Oregon is a great asset to the Buck Collectors. Plus, his wildlife photos are enjoyable. DM

I'm beginning to think Steve really knows his gear...I did a little trading with him one time and got the same scissors and clippers too!My wife claimed both of them as hers ,they reside in her purse now and are awesome tools!thanks again Steve!

Don't know where you are in Southern California; I am in Escondido; recently bought a 112 Texaco for $15, lots of Buck knives in El Cajon/Santee where Buck used to be!!!!

Tatooine.... AKA.... Lancaster CA, the high desert north of Los Angeles.
Around here people must hold on to them, or they move away and part with them later.... big military and military contractor area, Edwards Air Force Base is here.

I grew up in Rancho San Diego :) maybe 10 minutes drive to the old El Cajon Factory :)
I loved going there to get a new knife.
There were tons of Buck knives all over down there, I bet there still are.
I remember going to the Big5 in El Cajon, and they would have the full line of Bucks on display.
The Big5 here has just a couple Bucks in the case :(

I lived in Rancho Bernardo for a bit, around 15 years ago too. Just down the road from Escondido.
